2 day workshop covering the key information to understand and achieving the CE mark. The courses gives an overview of the process and covers machines, electrical products and EMC.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1 day workshop covering the electrical safety of equipment covered by the Low Voltage Directive. The workshop will go through the process and the conformity requirements.
DESIGN FOR EMC
1 day course covering the electromagnetic compatibility requirements and good EMC design practices for electrical products and machines covered by the EMC Directive.
MACHINERY SAFETY
1 day workshop covering the CE Marking process and the conformity requirements for manufacturers of machinery and other equipment covered by the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).
PRESSURE EQUIPMENT
1 day workshop covering the pressure equipment and assemblies covered by Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), looking at the conformity process and requirements.
ATEX WORKSHOP
1 day course covering the conformity requirements for electrical and mechanical for use in a potentially explosive gas and/or dust atmospheres, covered by the ATEX Directive.
RISK ASSESSMENTS
1 day workshop covering the how to undertake risk assessments for CE marking and product development. The course covers different methodologies available for a range of products.
FMEA WORKSHOP
2 day workshop covering the FMEA (risk assessment) process for products and processes. Day 1 covering design and day 2 covering process (Delegates can choose to attend just day 1 or 2 – or both).
CONSTRUCTION (CPR)
1 day course covering the CE Marking process, Harmonised European Standards and conformity requirements for construction products covered by the CPR (305/2011/EU).
CE FOR IMPORTERS
1 day workshop covering the legal obligations and sample testing for importers, who are bringing electrical equipment and machines into the UK and the EU.
RADIO EQUIPMENT
1 day workshop covering the conformity requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive (replacing RTTE), looking at process and testing requirements.
EM FIELDS
0.5 day course covering the requirements under the ElectroMagnetic (EM) Fields Directive and the impact on manufacturers and their products.
GENERAL PRODUCTS
1 day workshop covering the legal requirements and conformity porcess for placing consumer products on the market under the General Product Safety Directive.
SAFETY OF TOYS
1 day workshop covering the conformity requirements for toys covered by the Safety of Toys Directive, including the application of toy standards (e.g. EN 71).
